once is awhile is ok, but i get annoyed with people who constantly post on fb statuses like 'gave a hobo 5 bucks today- feeling great about life!!!11' and 'helped a blind lady cross the road, somebody give me a trophy!!!111!!11'

get over yourself. do it because you want to help and not so you can brag to your friends.


in other news, i just paid rent for the place i'm moving into soon! it's right smack bang in the middle of the city, so i'm super psyched about that :D other than the fact that there's no view and it's very small, i'm sososo excited about moving in with sam! things have been going great (: i spent the whole last week at work and hanging with marcus! he came back from south america with his sis (after 5 weeks -   -) and left again for singapore a coupla days ago. bah humbug :\ i wish i could catch the travel bug... anyways, we ate out and chilled a lot since there's nothing much else to do with everyone gone. we exchanged xmas gifts; i got him a blue and cream thin striped jumper from country road, and he got me a ticket to the laneway festival in melbz! :D laura marling is definitely going to be a highlight for me *hearts* plus i already got a whole bunch of novels from him in the last online spree/ crazy book heist. too sweeeet~

 THE SNAG STAND @ MELB CENTRAL IS AWESOME!! meila ordered this one- greek flavour? i still think the chillidog is the besssst. gah i want one now!

can't remember which night, but marcus and i went to dinner at Atlantic in crown casino~ we tried like... 3 restaurants and every one had 1hr plus waits ): anywhoo, this place had a place at the oyster bar! so oysters it was :D great sauce nomnomnom my fave will still always be jap mayo, tabasco sauce and lemon. BTW, please trust me and try this- lemon wedge drizzle in lots of tabasco sauce, shake salt and sugar onto it... and bite! chew and eat the lemon meat. GAHD IT'S SO GOOOOD. wakes you up without alcohol or caffeine :D truly awesome snack by the bartender at my workplace, Sabsy!!

so yea~ the news from the last time i wrote here is that one of my closest friends, came back to melbourne... and we're currently in a label limbo where (at least i am?) not ready to commit to a status in fear of ruining everything. i've never actually fallen for such a close friend before this, and he makes me so happy ^^^ i hope it runs smoothly... fingers crossed and wish me luck!!!

btw, i just came home from a CNY dinner at lynn's place! i made curry chicken+potato (not from scratch la... not that domesticated P:). we had a ton of fun eating and playing chor dai di! and also a drinking game called 'never have i ever' xD i'm becoming pretty close with the PLC girls which makes me very happyyyy! cloudy, bo and lynn are so funny and mean to each other P: deprecation is the best form of affection in my books~ getting used to girltalk again and it feels gooood~ samsam... i miss you! can't wait to move in with my gurrrlll!!!

anyhow, good night! i have to go sleep and wake up early for a long day at work... 11am till 12:30pm. but the pay is awesome cuz of AUSTRALIA DAY public holidayyyy mooohahahhaa
